My main research focus is brain functional modelling, at different scales. My master project was centered on a large-scale network model of the cerebral cortex. Within my PhD the goal is to develop a realistic mesoscale model of the ITG, based on measured neuronal morphologies: then use it to analyze the effects of IED during cognitive activities. In the process, I hope to learn more about the cognitive and clinical part of neurosciences, and contribute to the understanding of what can cause relevant pathologies such as epilepsy.
